Plugins, Viewers, and Other Tools

CSV

Comma-separated values (CSV) format, also known as comma-delimited text, is a simple, open file format that is widely supported, so it is often used to transfer tabular data between different applications from a spreadsheet to a database program, for example). In this format, numbers and text are stored as plain text that can be read in a text editor, so no plugin or viewer is required to view or print these files.

XML

Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a set of rules for encoding documents in machine-readable format. To open, view, or print Word documents saved in this format, you’ll need the Microsoft Word Viewer, together with the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel and PowerPoint File Formats.
