Grievance Redressal
AERB receives grievances through Centralised Public
Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS)
portal which includes Department of Atomic
Energy (DAE) and Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). All
grievances pertaining to AERB were duly responded to
in time during the year.
Right To Information Act 2005
Requisite measures were taken on the
implementation of ‘Right to Information Act’
(RTI) and the required information have been
put on AERB website. During the year, 128
RTIs related to AERB activities were received
and replied.
In addition to above, the frequently asked questions under
RTI were updated/compiled and uploaded on AERB website
for reference of the public.
Parliamentary Questions
Regulation of handling radioactive material in India
Parliamentary questions Radioactive waste disposal and discharges
and sub-questions related
to regulation of nuclear
and radiation facilities were Safety of Nuclear Power Plants and clearances for new NPPs
received and replied.
During the period, AERB responded Guidance for Physical Protection of Nuclear Facilities
to 33 parliamentary questions.
